Youth Ministries

Our children and youth are an important part of our ministry here at St. Paul. We offer many options for our youngest members to get involved and make new friends while learning and growing in faith. Click here to view our Event Registration page and sign up for our many youth activities as they become available.

  • Kid's Crew - 3rd-7th Grade

After School Crew takes place every Wednesday during the school year from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This program gives children a chance to get together with friends for a few hours of fun activities. The church van picks up participants from school for an afternoon of drama, crafts, mission projects, music and more. Children also participate in our children's handbell and vocal choirs. Visit our music page for more information on these programs.
  • Confirmation - 8th Grade

Our confirmands work as a team as they learn and grow in faith in preparation for confirmation on Palm Sunday of their 8th grade year. Students will not only learn about the Old and New Testaments and what it means to be a member of the church, they also engage in extensive faith formation. Students are encouraged to speak about what their faith means to them and will make "Faith Statements" to the church before being confirmed.

Confirmation classes take place on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. and on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Confirmands are also expected to attend our second service each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
  • Junior Youth Fellowship - 6th-8th Grades

Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) gives these youth the chance to come together for fun, food, fellowship and service. Students in JYF meet once a month at the church and also travel on various field trips and mission trips. Activities and field trips range from movie nights to ice skating to bowling. Mission trips and special projects are open to anything the youth are called to do.
  • Senior Youth Fellowship - 9th-12th Grades

Senior Youth Fellowship (SYF) gives high school students the chance to come together for fun, food, fellowship and service. Students in SYF meet once a month at church in addition to various field trips and service trips. SYF participants also get the chance to attend the annual Winter Weekend, a high school retreat planned by Illinois South Conference youth.
